I got a problem and I need help please

Hi, I just bought Ryzom and after the initial install it did the patch thing and it says something about a opengl something or other .dll is newer than the application, since then I've run recover about 10 or so times and it still won't work, if someone can give me insight on this issue please do so, my email is IrishCommander@gmail.com Thank you and I hope to see you soon

Hm - seems like I'll have to upgrade my skills in prophecy.

Please, PLEASE provide information if you post that you need help. And if you post in a forum, stick to the forum. Others having the same issue (if there are any) will thank you.

Two questions:
1) What is the EXACT error message?
2) What graphics adapter do you have?

get newest drivers for your video card (official drivers).
Then remove your old graphics drivers, reboot (important), install new drivers (run setup.exe, dont let windows autodetect/install video drivers)
should help.

I tried to run OpenGL but with no luck..Start the file ryzom_configuration_rd.exe and change under graphics to D3D instead of OpenGL then start the game it should work out great..At least it did that for me..

It sounds like your video drivers are not up to date. And without knowing your specs I cannot advise much other than what has already been said: Remove, reboot, run installer.

See this thread on contacting tech support via email and sending in your video specs. We can advise you better when we know what hardware/drivers you are running.
