You can help us, especially if you have a cedega/transgaming account:

(cedega is a software that allows to play Windows games under GNU/Linux).

We are trying to ask for a vote for Ryzom in Cedega:

After asking some support in transgaming, a moderator adviced me to suggest a new poll about Ryzom. I created a new "Suggest a poll" topic and this suggestion needs 10 votes to be considered. Then, I hope that this vote will appear in the next round of votes, and maybe could bring some real support to finish to correct the last bugs...

So, I you have a transgaming account and want to help to bring a vote for Ryzom, please, go to the vote section, then "Review Suggested polls" and find my post (currently in the second page). Then ask for a "Second, Third, ... poll request".

You can find it here (or in the next pages):

http://www.transgaming.com/postlist.php ... &offset=15

If we are 10 I hope the request will be considered and will appear in the votes...

Thanks,
Ptitmain.

Thanks a lot !

We have now 8 votes over 10. We need two more votes to be in the next poll of cedega... If you know someone using linux+cedega, please tell him about voting.

Today you can find the poll here:

http://www.transgaming.com/postlist.php ... offset=105

It was initiated the 20th of july...

Voted.

And of course, if Ryzom would natively support more platforms I'd do a /dance.

The reason more companies do not work on native Linux game clients comes down to money. Linux users are notoriously bad for not wanting to pay for stuff. :)

linze, I would be satisfied with having my Mac-using buddies playing the game. Mac users are notoriously well known for wanting to pay for stuff.

Besides, Nevrax, should already have good will in the non-paying world since they released the engine open source. Nevrax is a company that is not clueless about Linux and the client emulates pretty good already, just need some minor tweaks.

YOU did it !!!!

The status of the request is now:

"The Saga of Ryzom - Request for vote this vote request has been passed onto the TransGaming team"

I will now look after some reaction of transgaming and be in touch with the community if I have new informations...

Thanks a lot !

We succeeded in adding Ryzom in the Transgaming vote round. We have now one month to vote for the different games and try to have a good score for Ryzom. The higher we get the better the probability is that Transgaming will do some job on Ryzom.

Please, if you have a Transgaming account (or know someone who have), visit the current vote round, here:

http://www.transgaming.com/pollslist.php

and vote for Ryzom !!!

Some of us have... go buy a Cedega account, and look at the linux sticky at the top and/or go here
