Alright...where to begin? first i downloaded the game everything was fine and dandy and all that jazz..then i'd get all the way to char select and i cant create a char because it was windowed and i couldnt find any buttons......i tried everything, so finaly i reinstalled and after all that i got back in repatched and would click the i accept button and get the below error msg, debug does nothing, can anyone please help i really would like to try this game out.

I would run ryzom_recover (they typically say 5 times) as it appears you have a bad file somewhere...

alright, reinstalling the game now again but i'll try that thank you

Although it's too late already, it appears that a file got damaged...
Next time, start SoR and press the button "Check Data" in the main window. It should detect an inconsistent file which then should be downloaded upon game start.

ahhh, alright thanks guys that did help =) But now i was just curious, i see some body parts as pure white and soime buildings and pack animals..im guessing this is right? am i right?

Ehm - the game starts up but some objects "don't have the right shape or have no texture" - did I get that correctly?

Two things:
1) GeForce 3 Ti200 may have a bit of a hard time coping with the game
2) the white textures are caused by video driver issues. Download some official nVidia drivers (preferably not the 77.72 as they will probably kill your card) and remove the Omega drivers. Ryzom has always had issues with unofficial leaked drivers as they usually have some functionality removed to make them faster. You will also have to lower everything to minimum for a start and then slowly increase settings. Most definitely disable shadows, clouds and microvegetation.

you have definetly something fishy with drivers. try to remove your old video card drivers, reboot and install new ones from nvidia.com website

i have gforce 3 Ti200 with NVidia 77.72 drivers, 1024x768 rez. Ryzom runs fine.
