Hi,

somehow i managed it to keep my fame where it was when i started to play the game

For whats comming on the horizon of the game i am thinking about changing my fame and also do some missions. I belief in balance and dont want to decide, but if i have to decide i would join Kami.

How does my life change when i raise my fame with the Kami ?
Is TPing with Karavan tickets dropping fame ?

Please no discussion about the one or other faction. This is about fame itself

Your spawn points will switch from karavan to kami (when kami fame is higher than karavan), that's about it really.

thats based on racial fame not faction. It's perfectly possible to have high tryker and kami

The only downside you may experience from this is that some camps wont offer you protection from attacking mobs and may even just attack you on sight if your personal fame drops low enough, I'm not sure how low it has to be. Slavers camp in BB attack me on sight now after a lil guild experiment camp wipe yesterday which resulted in my personal fame dropping to -11 with them. They previously liked me, I just can't think why they don't like me anymore......

But i thought tribe fame is standalone and not connected with Kami or Karavan.

I think you need much more than -11 in fame for them to attack you on sight. The tribe that attack me on sight have a reason, i jave more than -90 fame with them. With -80, they don't atack me.

Gaining fame with a Kami-worshipping tribe will always raise your fame with the Kami and lower your fame with the Karavan, and vice versa. But I've never seen that gaining fame with the Kami results in gaining fame with the Kami-friendly tribes or loosing fame with the Karavan-friendly tribes.

The Slavers have very bad global fame with the Tryker, -66 or -80 I believe. (Might have something to do with the Tryker slaves in their camp.) Add -11 personal fame to that and they would most likely attack you on sight.
