First time user registration suggestions

Hi,
I play a *lot* of these games (I'm a bit of a mmorpg slut), and I have to say your registration process is a bit of a drag.
* Password has an annoying max length and requires a capital letter. This is annoying as its different from every other password format on the planet that I have encountered. I use a fairly strong alphanumeric password, requiring it also to have a capital letter is just annoying.
* The registration process doesn't feel especially well hung together as it hops you through so many 3rd party gateways. Can't you at least brand them to look something like the ryzom page? Most gateways offer branding of some sort.
* Is your total patch size counter correct? It seemed like I downloaded more like 10MB of data rather than 0.6MB.
* Then the patch crashed with an access violation error. Where it offered to send an email, but it didn't have a button for email just debug, ignore, and quit. Non intuitive AND annoying that the patcher crashed on me.
On the upside, good speed on the patching server, was getting my cap of about 500 K/s.
