A suggestion to liven the game - or not?

I was thinking of starting over with a new character but the thought of being a noobie on my own was a bit off putting. Sooo, how about we all (that want to) start a new character at the same time, on the same island and with a new skill like range which is seldom used.

Please discuss the idea & if it is a goer then we can decide where & when. It would make a change for thirty or forty new range riders to appear on the mainland at the same time, going on safari in a big party.

sounds like a decent plan to me :-)

There was an event like this a few weeks back:

http://www.ryzom.com/forum/showthread.p ... ht=rebirth

While I didn't participate in the level competition, I did start a new character with several guildies and we had a fun time running around on the Fyros starting island for the weekend.

Alas, if we do this again, I probably won't be able to participate as 4 of my character slots are on the mainland for our guild's armor gallery models and the 5th was already used for that previous event. I suppose I could delete that 5th one but I'm not sure I could recreate with the same name.

Put me down as one willing to try it. I've always wondered how it would feel to go crazy as a ranged fighter vs the jewel/LA idiot I am now.

Which race are we talkin'?

Thanks, good to know. I wasn't sure of this and didn't really want to test since I don't have a spare slot to test with. I know some games hold your character for a while when it's deleted just in case you made a big mistake and hit the delete button by accident.

Yeah with clever organisation, like 1 crafter per eack skill branch, levelling for the group would be quick. (ie 6 jewel crafters mastering one item each).

But oh, the grind!
