*The Yubo's Leg bar in Pyr is thick with smoke from the silverweed pipes as the old warriors smoke away their final days in an agreeable haze. The clientele here is largely disreputable but enough clients have enough sway with the guards that there is rarely trouble, even if the deals that go on are sometimes a little, clandestine.*

"Word is..." Says the barman with a smile as he pours you an amber glass full of swirling firewine.

"Word is The Samsara are finally getting around to hosting another one of their knife fight extravaganzas. Nasty business knife fighting, takes a bit more skill, finesse and perseverence than a lot of fighting techniques. Reckon you're tough? Those gladiator leagues are nothing, you want street credibility, you won't be fighting in front of the Palace. Tryker I hear, I'm sure more will be said soon enough, if you talk to one of The Samsara, I'm sure they'll give you more information. If the guard asks, you didn't hear it from me."

He winks and starts polishing another glass.

The fights have been done. The fighters fought bravely. There were winners and there were losers.

Doubletap was the winner of the event.

But in the end he was no match for the reigning champion of the Knife Fights. Elizabeth still holds the title of Champion Knife Fighter.

But there is still more to come. Keep an eye on this space. More fights will come.

Great time was had and a great Matis warrior DoubleTap rocked em all. The reigning champ Elizabeth arived later that day therefore evading the drug tests (looked to me to have been taking performance inhancing Visc Saps) But if was a great day out and sitting there in my puffys watching the show after getting wooped was nice 'n relaxing.
