I have just downloaded the trial and when I start the game it is in a windowed mode. Near the bottom I try change the resolution but it will not set to whatever I select. I need to maximise the screen and set it to higher resolution. Please someone I need a bit of help.

Are you getting all the way into the game? It goes to login and character selection in window mode only.

After you load a game with your selected character it should be in full mode by default. If not, hit "U" and under graphics tab on the left and I think "general" category there is a click box for full screen mode along with a variety of resolution settings.

Thanks for the quick response. I get to the character creation screen and I am still windowed - I have not gone further.

Yeah, there is an option early on for changing the resolution and windowed mode but it doesn't seem particularly responsive. Just create your character and get into game, and the options under the System Settings Controls (key "U") do everything and work fine. And it should remember your seetings well too next time you log in.
