"Please Wait" Issue with Networking

Hi there, Just downloaded the game and signed up for me and my wife.
While playing the game we keep getting this "Please Wait..." box that comes up with no explanation.... ( comes up after 5- 15 min of playing ) I am assuming that we have been disconnected by the icon in the box, it would be nice if it said that though instead of please wait.. like its loading or something.
Nevertheless, I did some searching on the forums and from what I understand so far , Ryzom uses several ports that could be blocked by a hardware firewall?
Now if it was just one computer I would be playing on behind the router then I could just forward the ports to it (if thats even the issue ) . But I cannot port forward the ports to two different computers ( me and my wifes computer ).
So is it impossible for two people to play behind a hardware firewall?
If not, then how do I set up the port forwarding or is that even the issue causing the Please Wait.. messages.
