Dear Creators, The game have been crashing for me the whole bloody day, atleast once a hour. And when the "bug report" window shows up, the game crashes, the same thing happens for my friend, i have rebotet my computer and reinstaled the game, but it wont get fixed. I cant play like this. Especialy this case, I log in now after the patch, i spawn at the same place that i logged out, in the water. I take one "step" and the game crashes again, logs in again, takes one step and the game just keeps on crashing. What in the world should i do?

I have purchased this game today and I am experiencing a similar problem. I managed to install and start Saga of Ryzom with no problems and I managed about 2 hours of play then my computer froze and I had to reset. Ever since any time I start the game it freezes immediatly when it has finished loading. I have tried re-installing the game, downloading and installing the latest driver for my graphics card (Radeon 9200) and installing DirectX9.0c.
This is especially annoying as I was really enjoying Saga of Ryzom while it was working, any help would be appreciated.

Aye, it is a pain. I even went and bought a new video card since they have problems with ATI card...and still get Access Violation crashes every 15-30 mins...quite annoying.
I am really a Ryzom fan, but this is getting almost too much for me
Even a fanboi can get so tired of this and leave the game you know
Could someone help us?
Thanks

Well, I had my share of crashes back in beta, and it took me months to figure out where they came from.
I can tell you this: 99,9% of the crashes are related to malfunctions of your own computer system. Games like this ask a lot of a computer, if something isn't working 100% fine it can happen that a game like this crashes.
Acces violations are r/w errors to the memory. This can be caused by:
- Bad memory blocks
- Bad sectors on your harddisk
- Harddisk overheating
- CPU problems (overheating, general cpu faults)
- Errors in the FSB communication
- Insufficiant power supply
- Electric power fluctuations
- Memory from different brands and/or different speed
Check out your system and replace parts if needed, in most of the cases the problem will be solved.
PS: I reduced the amount of crashes (and even bluescreens) from about one every 3-10 min to 0 in 1 month.

just to add my 2 cents worth. I've been playing for 4 days with no crashes, just installed DirectX 9.0c (prev b) and crashed 3 times tonight
I'm gonna go back to b to see if it stops the crashing.
