I'm building a warrior / crafter here i am thinking which way is the way to start out with the less waste pack for my build care to share your opinion with me thanks. I not sure one day whether i will do Havesting anot but is 1 havesting enough? I hope to dap in to Magic later in the game maybe just the enhancement part to enhance my warrior so whether 1 magic is enough i not sure...Please give me some advice on this thanks

1. Crafting / Havesting / Magic

2. Crafting / Magic x 2

3. Crafting x 3

The first option is probably the best, since if you get tired of melee or dont get good enough materials from looting you can always start foraging. Though you still need to buy magic start if you want to start magic which is 50 skill points but you get heal for free.

I started out with 3 crafting packs, simply because I want basically to be a pure fighter. I did 3 crafting packs so I could easily get better equipment for my self and not depend on others as much. I would normally recommend you choose 1 each of magic/craft/harvesting, becase sinking 50 sp isn't worth the expense to your main skills in my opinion.

One pack in magic is iffy. Sure, you get heal... but that's it, and you can't use it to heal yourself. Gaining magic xp means you need to group and heal teammates, you'll never get magic xp solo that way. My first character took fight/magic/harvest, and magic hasn't moved at all since creation. Just something to keep in mind.

It's not a big deal to blow points from fight on something else because of how it splits (ranged/melee, 1h range 2h range 1h melee 2h melee close combat), I'd go with 2 magic and 1 harvest or craft or just three magic packs.

If you want to ultimately want to be a fighter with some magic supplementationI would start 3 craft get armor and weap craft 1 plus alot of mats to start. Craft all your initial mats. That should get you to 10 or 14th level in 5 minutes. Train and take ammo and ranged weapon craft one and then either ;
a) either increase both ranged/ammo to two skill level 2. You can now craft your own ql20 pistol and ql 20 ammo (which you will need if you are speccing for fighter as your main.
b) increase to weapon skill 2 and or/
c)invest in shield craft 1. Even if you dont want to use a shield everything in noobville drops some kind of shield component and you can blast the general armor craft skill up to 50 very easily before leaving noobville PLUS its extra sp to apply where you want. Take this to level 2 when you can.

After you hit 20 and have some hps built up buy Acid 1. the reason you want to do it this way instead of investing any in the beginning is it is very hard to level magic using heal only as you need a group. You can solo magic using acid and add heal later. Plus not taking any magic skill at the start leaves you able to craft guns/ammo (a must for fighters. You have to be able to make your own) plus guns will level you fast in noob ville.

You can always make friends with a harvester or get mats from your guild to make player items but leveling is easily done on mob drops and getting mats from the merchant. I am harvesting as well but it can get tedious at times.

I avoided the self-heal including magic pack and bought the 50 pt magic (starting) upgrade which contained acid1 as soon as I had the points together-

Started with harvest1 +craft2

PS: a poll on this would be both intersting for us and tell the devs which packs need an overhaul badly. There are way to much final combinations but a poll could ask for (multiple choice allowed):

did your starting packs include:
c1
f1
h1
m1

c2
f2
h2
m2

c3
f3
h3
m3

Unfortunately this alone means 12 answers whereas onjly 10 are allowed :(

Pick up heal too at some point. Mages, healers especially... tend to dislike having the group stand there looking at them when they die. Being able to rez the healer means that you sometimes get a notch up on the chain of usefulness when it comes to deciding who dies and who doesn't when someone has to die to keep the group alive... being able to heal the healer from time to time is even better since then they notice it :P

I got the heal spell of course (although I am a crafter/harvester/fighter) but realized that I have to raise both the heal spell and my sap constantly to my (respectifely the groups) level which is sadly not possible for me as I dont group much.

Its not that I suffer, I upgraded to cold2 which is still usefull for pulls even with a meagre 100 sap. In groups this saves the healers sap so its a deal even then - by the time the next pull is asked for I got enough sap again for a single shot :)

I choose 3 harvesting. I really wanted to be more of a full time harvester and not do any combat. But as I have played I started to realise the only realistic way I am going to be able to work increasing my Kami faction is to kill things. There are harvesting missions, but I could easily spend days trying to find dry rotting wood and never succeed. I can kill a Yubo and Ragus in less than 10 minutes.
