The Herald of the Zorai has announced....

Homins I bring you the words of the Herald, Giao Fo-Chen of the Zorai, as spoken tonight in Zora.

Homins of Zora hearken to my words! I am the Herald, Giao Fo-Chen and I represent the Guild of Dynastic Circle.

Our most wise leaders have debated for a long time now, on how we are to face the revelations that Elias brought us not so long ago that Jena, the Goddess of the Karavan, is to come unto Atys, with the declared goal of battling and obliterating the Kami, to vanquish Ma´Duk, to “liberate” their followers and thus to destroy Atys once and for all.

We came to the conclusion that we should seek out an Ally amongst the people of Atys. Only the war hardened Fyros, who in the past had proven to be stout fellow travellers on the way of the Kami, came to mind for this special Alliance. An alliance to build a Wall, a Fortress, against the dark Forces of Jena.

It is therefore announced today, that Chan Ji-Cian of the Guild of Cho has been asked to lead a diplomatic mission to visit our brethren the Fyros and to discuss an alliance of the forces of the Kami in the face of the coming struggle. We wish to show Emperor Dexton and his brave Fyros that the Zorai will stand with them as supporters of the Kami whatever the future may hold.

Accordingly, I am asking you to help your leaders in two ways. An honour guard is needed to accompany the ambassador and so I call on all of you with the Rank Expert in melee or magic (Level 200) to volunteer as guards and protectors and to demonstrate the might of the Zorai peoples.

Crafters your assistance is also required! We wish you to make objects of the highest status and quality (Supreme quality level 250) that represent the best of Zorai craftsmanship which can be given to the bravest and best of the Kami forces. They may be donated by both individuals and guilds and the names of the donors will be noted for
posterity. The crafters are of course, welcome to join the delegation and witness the bestowal of their gifts.

Please meet here in 2 days' time at the same hour to register that you will accompany the party to Fyros and to hand your goods to the Zorai representative. The embassy will leave in 4 days at a time to be announced.

The Zorai people thank you.

To the selected Zorais I wish you well on the journey, and if you get the chance send my regards to the Fyros.

I am a bit puzzled why there was no attempt to ally with the Trykers.
They seem unwilling to join in the battle, with them we could have stod firm on non-involvement, for a longer time than now.

Interesting that the honor guard is fighters and mages...

and that the crafters are invited along to present their gifts...

but the foragers who make the supreme gifts even possible to craft are left out...

Way to go!

I would love to see anyone get to 200+ in anything other than digging, without the foragers' hard, backbreaking work!

Thanks for listening...

what about the famous zorais?

will you allow a zorai with karavan fame to make the journey because he is an expert? will you suffer sneak attacks?

Well, most crafters ARE foragers and vice versa. They do go hand in hand. It is hard to be a +lvl 200 crafter without foraging at all.

As Ambika mentioned, most crafters also dig. He also said individuals OR guilds can donate. Included in the guild could be a digger and a crafter. So there they are included as well.

Yes, anyone can donate, but I was talking about the honor guard, which was specifically fighters and mages, and then crafters were invited to come for the presentation of their gifts.

No mention of foragers, although as has been pointed out MOST foragers are also crafters.

thanks for listening...

Yet more tidings form Zora

Greetings, fair Zoraï, blessings of Ma-Duk be upon you.

It brings warmth to my heart to witness your faith in this moment. Only a few days back did we announce to you all that we shall send an embassy of fraternity to our brethren the Fyros, where we shall renew the bonds of kinship among our peoples. They have long been our allies, friends and fellow servants of the glorious Kami.

As a gift of our bounteous jungles to their barren jungle we asked you all to provide fair crafts of our ancient culture. Of all cultures we have been fairest, wisest and most learned and our skills in craftsmanship reflect this. Thus from your hands, progeny of the Zoraï, inheritors of the grace of Hoï-Cho, childer of Mabreka, we would wish to receive the gifts for the Fyros. Those of you who have blessed us with your fine arts, please align yourself near the stairs here, so that we can collect your arts with the due care they deserve.

If you so wish, we will write down your name so that your quality of spirit and strength of faith may be known to all in Fyros. Naturally, those of you who wish to accompany us in our pilgrimage to the burning deserts will be free to do so.

We have decided to depart on Tuesday night in a ceremonial proceeding through the city of Pyr, those of you of the greatest renown may join in to impress our friends.I ask of you here, if you wish to join, to show us the badge of your merit, and display your title of ‘expert’ proudly. And all of you who have laboured these days to gather fair gifts for our Fyros friends, I would be honoured if you could present them to me now, so I may inspect them and hand then to our friends when the time comes.

My fellow Zoraï, thank you all greatly for the support you’ve shown here today.Let us conclude our gathering, I thank you all for your patience. May ten thousand things go as you wish.

Zoraïi at Cerakos Gate - Welcome Speech
---------------------------------------

I would like to welcome you all to Pyr, my friends!

I am Guard Kaetemi, and I'm here to bring you some news.
But first, I would like to give you all a small gift, to say welcome.
It is the symbol of our melee crafting techniques.
If I don't have enough of them, I will write down the names of those who I couldn't give one yet, and I will bring you one later.

Now for the news I would like to bring you.
I have noticed several people who call themselves Kami allies, but who seem to have been helping the Karavan.
I request you to watch out for those people, and advise you not to trust anyone who acts like that.

Thank you for your time.

All the Zoraïi who were there, were given a Q200 Burning Axe :)

A shame our leaders didnt consider Q 200 a worthy gift and also specified exotic Supreme materials be used instead of Excellant Jungle otherwise you may have had to make some more...
