Ryzom

I cant seem to find the option for inverting the y axis of the mouse. Could it be that there is no option? Is there a line in some ini file I can edit? This will be the first game I have played in 15 years that did not have an option for this. Someone please help...its driving me nuts.

I tried to look but did not find such setting, quite strange to have such a basic setting missing.

Thank you very much....still kinda silly that this option was not included. LOL....i wonder if this was an oversight, or if someone made the decision to omit it. Hope this will be fixed in the near future.

Note the CSR comment at the end of that thread. Editing your config file is against the EULA. So best to to do it.

Well - some never get used to it. Inverted-mouse-steering should be easy to implement. This story is a sad story and after many months i doubt the devs will write a happy ending.

Edit: At beginning of 2005 i was about to start a poll about invertet-mouse-steering, but after thinking about it i saw its pointless as most/all players used to inverted-mouse-steering wouldnt sign a poll in this forum. Its quite difficult to get addicted to a game with - for ur personal habits - awful steering. These people are all gone and lost. Sad story indeed.

Being a FPSer i was a devoult reverse mouser.

However because I use the default arrow keys here, and your reactions aren't as important as a FPS, then i started using normal mouse.

Fast forward 8 odd months, bought BF2, and start playing with reverse mouse like normal, and i just cant do it. Finally got used to WASD again and now i can shoot things! (although thats a matter of opinion).

Except of course I can't leave Ryzom to play it much..

Moral of story: none, it was just a bunch of stuff that happened

With patch 78 the inverted-mouse-steering seems to work fine now!

Remember its not officially supported and you'll be on your own, but - heja - it works after all!

Yep...i tried it last night...seems to work well with none of the problems listed in the other thread. Thx all for the help
