NOTE:
This is NOT intended to be a thread for criticism about what Nevrax left out but for my own curiosity. I am just interested if I am the only one looking for certain elemetns I personally think of both funny and challenging.
I have tried NOT to include anything that is allready confirmed to be included in patch 2 or testet atm so this is my long-run wish list.
PS: multiple choice has been activated

Some of the poll options have never been introduced to ANY game yet
I really miss player vendors. Although it is nice to not have to deal with the abundance of empty but still advertised vendors of SWG...ie Coronet's surrounding area was notorious for that.

One thing that really would make a difference would be an ecosystem that makes heribvores change their feeding grounds according to season with carnivores following them of course and smaller animals claiming the space their larger cousins just left.
Even if we could not utilize this for hunting reasons it would make the world feel so much more alive if mobs would move their spawning points within a complete season on a large scale.

So far dungeons are clear ahed with basics like more movement choices and underwater stuff following.
Re: What do you miss most?
I would like to hope SoR is/will become a game that doesn't need dungeons. I would rather they expand the world not add some new hole in the ground. What I would be afraid of is that implementing dungeons would refocus development towards a point where publishes revolve around new dungeons.
There are plenty of games out there that offer dungeons.

Ryzom has PvP available but you both have to want to take advantage of it. Plus, get your fame low enough with a certain tribe and you will constantly have to be on the lookout for them as they *will* attack you.jdiegel wrote:I would like to hope SoR is/will become a game that doesn't need dungeons. I tried another game that has PvP available and hated it so I left and came to the beta of Ryzom. And have not regretted it. This is one of the reasons why Ryzom attracted me so much.
I think too, that the Devs will add certain things as they see the need for it. So, what you have on your list....you might get surprised in the future.
Ryzom has gone for a different model to your other regular games. The fact that you can choose to start with, say fight, and then add magic without any other actions before you do so is an excellent thing.
Give it time
