My IE got ruined :(

I was downloading this zip file (getting a download prompt, and selecting where i want the zip file downloaded to, thats how i like it) and i managed to uncheck some stupid little box on the dl window, where you would click "open", "save as" "cancel" .
So now not only are the zip files automatically saved to some obscure directory (recon a temp directory that gets cleared when i shut down pc) ie i cant save them where i want to keep them on my HD, but this temp folder crap doesnt even work and all zip files show up as having no files in them

Anyone know how to fix this ? Ive looked around in the settings for an hour now and cant find anything related to download settings. :(

edit: no im not able to change it back by downloading a new zip file and checking the box again

I took a look through the settings and couldn't find anything like that either. Sorry.

Now might be a great time to switch to Firefox.
