Cant heal unconscious characters

I remember the 3 deaths I had - my toon was lying on the ground, stats slowly dropping while a timer did run for 90(?) secs.
Yesterday twice another charakter was going down nearby and although I was there within seconds to cast heals the body vanished in an instant.
My question is: Is the option to get heals while uncinscious just another thing only in the manual or did these 2 hit the respawn button the second their toon dropped?

I have been healed from death before so I think that those guys just respawned very quickly.

The timer is active for two mins e.g. 120 secs. And yes, those two hit the respawn button (or teleported). Reviving unconscious characters works fine.

This feature was actually working in the Beta.

Thanks for clearing that up for me - hope the next one falling unconscious within my sight has a little more trust in faith

Sounds logical....but my death convicts died in the newb zone.
Well maybe they thought I was running over to them for quatering

I would hope you're looting, not quartering

The phrase "No good dead goes unwanted" I know that's not the real phrase but it fits
