Greetings homins, I bring you tidings from the Lakelands. The leader of the Free People, govenor Still Wyler, passed his advice on to the Tryker people last night through his herald, Roggan Adgan. The speech delivered unto all at Loria's Rise was said to be as follows:
“Hello to you, free citizens of the Lakelands.
Many of you think that this war is not ours and I understand that. But what will we do if this war is imposed on us? Shall we once again wait until we are invaded before reacting? Shall we bow as slaves before rebelling?
I’ve been enslaved; I know what I’m talking about. I lived through the times that many of you forgot. Are we still so naïve to think that if we stay quietly in our lakes, we’ll be left alone? But this doesn’t mean that I will make the same mistake as the other leaders. As long as there is a single hope for the war to be avoided I, Still Wyler, promise to work towards peace. But if a threat comes we’ll have to choose! What could we poor little Trykers do if we are isolated from our allies?
I’ve two little girls who’ve only just begun to discover the wonders of Atys, how would I be able to live if I saw them die just because I didn’t feel like leaving my lake because I preferred to stick my head in the sand rather than face reality and find allies?
The Karavan has always stood by our side! I trust them as much as the majority of us and I’ll try everything to stay on good terms. But that doesn’t mean we have to fight for them at their call. The announcement of King Yrkanis scared a lot of us and I know we have all been surprised by such statements that just don’t seem like him. I’ve personally contacted the Matis king and I’ll meet him soon to remind him of the bonds of brotherhood that united us not so long ago.
Trykers! As Kerman Aeron says in his famous song: ‘We gotta get out of here, find a way to escape!’”
Homins, heed my words!

Re: The Tryker Decision
At last we see a homin leader who behaves sensibly and thinks clearly. I, for one, am proud to be a Trykker on this day.

Ah, the beautiful Tryker race with their huge, wonderous eyes. Why can they not see that, now they have rebelled from one form of slavery they walk towards the shackles of another with arms outstretched, wrists bared.....

Re: The Tryker Decision
I'm confused. Did he just say we should find allies and prepare to defend the lakelands? Or did he say we should flee?
This warmongering is stupid, but I won't let the Trykers become enslaved again!
