The Alliance/Council

I hereby agree to the Alliance made at the meeting of guild leaders at Loria's Rise that every voice in the alliance is equal, no matter who speaks it, and that we will not go to war without everyone's word.
To keep peace and Freedom on Atys.
I swear for myself and my guild, on my life, and my honour as a Tryker.

So, the thought is that every member guild has an equal vote, and none of the members will attack until the entire council agrees?
I have seen that type of madness play out before...
I propose a special sub-council...a security council, with a revolving three seat team, and any one member of the security council has veto power over the entire assembly.
This is the best way to ensure nothing ever gets done.
I belive your heart is in the right place, but the implementation seems like folly.

The goal of a council like this is stability, not mobility. Homins need a way to work together independently of the various factions. It would appear that the Kami and the Karavan both want us to slaughter each other in the name of some conflict of the gods that has no bearing on hominkind. Neither side can convincingly demonstrate how their agenda is in our interest. I'm beginning to feel like both sides of this conflict are using homins as weapons (or worse - as playthings).
In the face of this, organization is the clear solution. If we homins really are strong enough to determine the outcome of divine wars, then we are strong enough to be our own masters rather than act arbitrarily according to the whims of self-proclaimed higher beings.

Not sure what this Alliance/Council purpose is, so won't comment on it.
Saiwin, there is a choice, join us who speaks of peace and stand up to this foolishness.

This council don't plan, don't force anyone to agree with one viewpoint.
- it will not decide whether (all members) fight with the karavan or not
- it will not enforce guilds to do anything
This council is here to find out what the higher beings wants from hominkind, and as much as possible, discover their "machiavellian" project.
So, all datas gathered are explained and discussed, and afterward the guild representative leaves, and check with his guildmates their "stand" about incoming events.
This may be also possible to anticipate the future, and losses in case of war.
Currently the council include mostly pro-karavan guild, so mainly tryker and matis, but this is not restrictive.

It's seems obvious from the faction poll that the majority support your viewpoint. I wish you luck and hope that cool heads can calm the brewing storm.
