Enough skill points?

Hi all. Just got the game the other day, and I have a couple of questions regarding skills, skill points and levels...

- In a particular skill type (let's take Crafting as an example), if I eventually make it to the highest level in crafting, will I have made enough skill points to buy every skill available? Or do I need to start planning out my route of Skills to buy before I even get started, as I won't be able to have some of them?

- What is the highest level in any one skill type?

Really quite confused at the moment, and these building things out of stanzas, while a cool idea, is just a big headache, as it doesnt seem very clear what some of the stanzas do...

I want to be able to just go ahead and play the game, but at the moment I'm worried that if I don't plan ahead I'll run out of skill points later on and really limit what I can learn. Is it ultimately possible to gain enough skill points to learn everything?

WackyAnne has it right - if you max out every skill, you can purchase every action. That would require quite a bit of dedication, though, so it benefits most players to choose their actions wisely.
