Skill Tree Mechanics Query

Okay, so at Lvl 20 your skill trees take their first branch. On crafting i picked 'Armour' for mine and now, whenever i craft some armour, the XP for that adds to the progression on the Armour Crafting tree, taking me to 24 at the moment.
My question is, if i should buy jewelry crafting for example from my available Craft skill point, will the XP for any jewelry i craft only go onto the Jewelry Crafting tree? Can i have different levels of the different crafting branches because i'm trying to do them all at the same time? Do i get the 10 skill points each time i make a new level in each of these variant branches?
Basicaly i want to craft myself some nice new non-armour stuff and i want to know if its gonna hinder my armour crafting progress if i get myself onto the other skill branches (aside from the initial point layout to buy the new basic craft skill for each branch).

Yes, you never acctually pick a branch to follow, apart from mantally that is, the exp you gain automatically goes into the branch that it suits, Ie:fighting with a 2h sword goes into fight 2handed or jewelry crafting goes into jewelr

It's exactly as you said, you can do what you are saying. You can level independently in each of the branches and maintain different levels, getting 10 SP each time you level in one of the branches. Apart from the initial SP cost of getting into a new branch, there is no draw-back for the original branch.
It's exactly like with the main skills of fighting, magic, etc., where spending 50 fighting SP on your Acid Damage 1 enables you to start progregrssing in Magic, independent of your Figthing skill.

Blinding. Was 90% sure that must be how it worked, but wanted to be certain before heading down new crafting routs.
Cheers guys.

Is it the case that there is a 250 levels cap (each) for the Fight, Magic, Craft, and Harvest skill trees?
Is there a web page that shows the COMPLETE Fight, Magic, Craft, and Harvest skill trees? If so please provide a link.
Thank You,
