I did not do any missions for the Kami yet, just recently left newbe island, and when I Harvest I always use gentle extraction. So, what could I have done wrong to get a -33 Kami Fame rating?

Because you are a Matis and the Kami are intolerant bigots

Did you join a guild? Your fame with any faction has 3 parts, Civilization, Guild, and Personal. Your fame is the sum of these three. If you joined a guild, then the guild fame with that faction was all of the sudden added (or subtracted) from yours, which could explain sudden shifts.

Any missions you have done for the karavan will give you negative kami fame. Look in your System Info window when you complete a mission to see the effect it has had on your fame.

As well as this, as has been said already, your Global Fame is the sum of your Personal, Guild, and Civilisation fame. If you have joined a guild then they will have a kami fame that will affect yours, but more importantly, all players start with a beginning fame based on which race they are. This cannot be changed (apparently if enough of us do something, it can be but we haven't seen any evidence of this) so if you are Matis or Tryker, you will have started with negative Kami fame.

-33 is default Kami fame for matis and tryker, i think

shouldnt be that high i thought both started at 0 my karavan fame is only -11 and ive been a kami follower since not long after release. kami fame is alot higher ;P

I am thinking you have been killing Kami friendly tribes. Have you been killing Kami friendly tribes? Such as the Leviers?

Baby newb, what is your personal kami fame? It should start at 0.
What is your race?
Your civilization fame is the rightmost column.
Kami racial fame starts at -16 for tryker, maybe -33 for matis, but I thought -16 also.

Your fame is affected slowly by missions, and quickly by killing certain tribes, thats all, have a nice day.

if you are matis, which you said you are in another thread, you do NOT want positive kami fame

matis is a karavan aligned tribe

any guild not following the karavan are traitors to the matis people

so you don't want a high kami fame if you're a matis, probly why there's a karavan altar in all matis cities

All depends on which path they want to take. There are Kami aligned Matis. It simply depends on which path the player wants to choose. It would be harder for a Matis to become a Kami aligned character, but thats all the more fun of playing one.
