Mektoub question

How does "Feed Animal #1' Service" work? Do I just buy it once for a one-time fee and the stable boy feeds the mektoub indefinately? Or is the 11,642 dappers subtracted from my inventory again each time the mektoub is fed? Or is it fed only once?
Also, do mektoubs continue to consume food while in the stable? I heard that they supposedly didn't, but read somewhere on this forum that they did...
My mektoub is a mount, by the way, if that makes any difference.

I'm not sure on the feed animal service. My guess, based on the cost, would be that it's a one-time thing to save the clicks of buying the food then feeding the animal.
As for consuming food at the stable, I've had my packers in the stable for a couple of months and their hunger bar hasn't moved.

The feed animal service is a one time thing. The benefits of it: a) less clicks ;P b) save space, just buy and its done
hunger consumption in stable: Your packers' (mount's) hunger only increases when it is running. It will not increase if it is in the stable, just standing there, or walking.
