The patch is good!

So far I am very impressed with the patch. Not as much content as I had hoped but I know there is a lot more coming. The 4 rites were a blast, especially running into all the people working on them today. If they released 4 a week there would be less grumbles about content.

The auto stacking of mats in the guild house and apartment was a nice surprise. As was the unique mission titles for each NPC. This made the rites much easier since there wasn't 4 missions with the same title forcing you to take them all to find the right one.

Only thing I have found so far that I do not like about the patch is the teleport ticket bulk. I am hoping this is in error or if not they will realize it was a bad idea. There is approximately 54 working teleporters in game. Most like to buy 2 tickets to avoid the hassle of getting them back when you forget to buy one. That means 54 bulk taken up by tickets. This is a big impact on harvesters. Fingers crossed they remove the bulk.

The only other change I was hoping for with regards to all of the stacking changes was for stackable sap crystals and the sap load number displayed on the icon. Another cool feature would be a reload max option to load your enchanted item with max sap provided the stack had enough crystals. To take it one step further, the ability to create an action to load sap so you don't have to mess with your inventory in the heat of battle.

When I read the news yesterday about a bug fix patch and it said "this is not the patch originally scheduled for last week" I wasn't expecting much. All in all it is a good patch :)

Yeah, it is really shame that 99% things in patch are good but one minor detail although having big impact on game play in higher levels ruins the overall good feeling.

From 4 "new" rites only one is really new (at least for me, "bewaab" rite).
And it's true what you said, patch is great, only ticket bulk is problem.

Has anyone noticed that game is running smoother as well? I could increase my graphics settings without getting lag.

Great job ;)

I noticed smoother play and everything seemed brighter and clearer as well, as though a slight display tweak had been done.

Very odd.

Same here, but I updated graphics driver during server downtime, so I don't know what affected to that change for myself :)

Lets face it, the patch was fantastic...

Action and progress - look lovely and is easy to read now.
Chat - Helpful, need to fiddle a bit with the colours cas some kinda clash.
Feed in stables - nice
Mount sizes - I wana big one back! (think cars and male pride)
General game play (speed etc) - lovely the game felt rock solid
Rites - yey excited people running around shouting, 'which barman?' and 'Wheres the hunter?'
Item stacking and increase item slots - great very useful
Mission text updates - Oh I loved these, amazing how a bit of rewording and layout turns a boring tasking into a meaningful mission, highlighted the connections between NPCs and Tribes

And other stuff I have forgotten or not tried....

But if I am a bit concerned that all of the above has be wasted/spoiled on me, but thats just my point of view. Up to you to make up your own minds.

I totally agree with you neun. It's a shame that all the things they've done right in this patch is overshadowed by the introduction of tp bulk.

Hopefully the tp bulk will be reviewed, and there will be little to tarnish the patch.

Apart from my annoyance at not being able to find Prime Spicy Aromatic Plant and Prime Rotting Fiber lol.. 10000 km trekked in FG, and nothing found yet :P
