If this sounds like the contents of the inventory of many of your guild members then I think I'd like to meet some of you.

I'm currently playing with the trial of SoR to see if I like the game and will be stuck on Newbie Island for a little while, but if I get hooked then I will definately be looking for an easy going mature guild to join. I used to play SWG for a long time and was a Jedi & Elder in the ShadowKnights on Eclipse.

I have limited play time usually between 5pm and 7pm PST weekdays (I'm in California) and then the odd chunk of time on random weekends.

My play style is typically PVE hunting and looting for high level crafters, I also enjoy epic quests (like the RIS and Mandolorian armor quests in SWG) but hate the 'run-over-there-kill-6-chickens' quests. I also enjoy some PVP if it's in a well built game engine (SWG certainly was not). I prefer to earn my living from selling loot and trading favors with skilled crafters rather than crafting much myself.

I love using V.O.N. for play so a guild with a healthy Teamspeak/Ventrilo community would be very attractive to me.

I'm 33 years old and consider myself energetic and light hearted although I can get really 'into' the game when battles get intense and the stakes are high.

Essentially I'm just looking for a fun group of people that play around the times I do and are nice and chatty on their Microphones while playing the game.

Thanks I appreciate the offer and will definately give you guys a shout when I make it off newb island, I'd definately like to get to know a bunch of different guilds to see which would be the best fit.

Take your time to look around for a nice guild. There are lots of nice ones about, and don't be scared of all offers you get the minute you jump from refugee isle to the mainland.

And if you are coming here from SWG, you will not be disapointed. It is much and much better!

While you're still looking, check out The New Empire in Matis lands (also be found in other lands); I'm on their TS server and we go boss hunting quite a bit now

hehe 'PoA' (protectors of Atys) goes boss hunting and on TS everyday hehehehe lol, its great fun isnt it sprite

The Out of Cavern guild is full of oldies. Lots of us (but not all) are over 40.
(That's one of the really great things about this game.)

We're a neutral, peaceful, family-oriented, mainly non-RP guild. We've been around since February 2004.

We use TeamSpeak (if you join, we give you the server address and password ).

Sadly, you've just described us way too well. You will now have to join or be killed.

Our play styles sound fairly similar as well. While we are not just hunters, there is usually someone hunting on a regular basis.

like the evo said, alot of guild so take a minute to look in to them all.
There are guilds who accpet all people, also guilds who are in the RL but also guild where you need to work hard in leveling to get in, but when you ar ein you have a lot of fun since those are mostly the guild who have special hunts ( armor and special mats )
So loads of options on Atys!
Cu soon on the mainlands and if you need anything under qlt 110 you can always send me a tell since i make all for free under that qlt ( and i have every tree around 110 minimum )
