two specific things of note:

1)You can now use special characters like é, ü, ... in tell windows, macro commands and such.

err I was already using special characters all over the game... i wonder what changed..????

2) Title for bare-handed fighting are now properly allocated.

Wasn't this the bulk of the last patch?

I'm very happy to see detailed patch notes, sad to see high level healers not use enchants without nerfing, and excited to see the rewards of the new rites. One thing I don't understand though is what they mean by bosses having specific drops? What had changed or what was wrong?

I wonder if the nerf will be based on the level of the person using the enchant or the level of the spell that is enchanted?

im still lost as to what you mean nerfing when using an enchant? they are going to make the spells you enchant on to items lower than they are? if so thats pretty lame =/

A long time ago you gained XP from using enchants on weapons. This I believe was removed as it allow you to start the magic tree without buying that start pack. (Similar to the fight skill)

I guess when they did that they broke the XP system, so under certain conditions a 'Healer' would not gain XP, from casting spells normally, if an enchanted item was used in the battle.

If you are refering to this line in the patch notes.

Using enchanted weapons won't stop healers gaining XP.

If wou were using a dagger enchanted with let's say cold damage, you were losing the xp and the rights of looting. (Well, if you were killing the mob using nukes from the enchantment). Guess now is checking your level, then the enchantment level and if those are in proper balance you will get the xp.

PS Btw, the affliction enchantment were working. I wonder now if the are.

WELL!

I use enchant heal when hunting for emergency, knowing that I won't nerf the xp because my heal is very high. I think a lot of people were using that method to go low level hunting and don't have a healer in the levels they're working on.

I am guessing they think this is an exploit (although I don't think it is) and patched it.

I am not exactly sure about the notes though, it might be we're just misreading it. Someone should go check it ingame.

As far as I know, Danish (and Nordic) special characters were not working. Hopefully they are now. :)

When leaving a fight, either by running away or entering a water area, coming back and finishing the fight won't give you any reward, unless the mob recovered the major part of its life.
If you are fighting and run away, you wont get XP. How far is away? 25m? 50m? how much?
I dont really like the thing about yes or no in the water. I mean, you almost kill a kincher, he drives you guys into the water and you come out to rez a friend, he will still come for you.
So kinchers are allowed to attack you under and circumstance, but you will not always gain xp for fighting back.
(dont bother explaining me why this is implemented, I know that)

Will items stack properly again when put in GH?
Will the inventory management of my appartement be working properly? Stacking, blocking movement of mats, not being able to view stats, stuff like that.
Can I determine how many pieces of a stack I can take or drop in GH? This wasnt so before the patch and imagine me trying to take out a stack of 999 when I cannot pick a number I wish to take out....

Hmmmm, is there a Karavan dude in Pyr to buy dp loss from?
You can now have stacks of 999 items (except for pre-patch tickets).
So buy 2 tickets every time, they stack, use up your old ones first that you can now easily recognize cause ..... they *dont* stack!
You can sell tools bought from NPCs to any other NPCs.
Will they be available for resell? Already thought up a scheme where I put 10 armortools and a few picks at the mercs at 9999999999% and I read *any* NPC, so hawkers as well to buy back from. Usefull in Fount I think, better then using up 10 bulk in my bag. Yes, I have an e-ville mind...
Some item names have been updated.
But I like my Klam helmet that looks like a stack of resin...
For the French community: some raw mats looted on Ora where said to be 'Supreme' but were actually 'Excellent'.
I think Ora should be left alone all together, be it by the French or the German or the EnglishSpeakers....
As it is absolutely pointless, you cannot reload a non enchanted weapon.
Aaaaawwww, I always thought this was a *great* gift for a new player. Load up his weapon for him....
Offline members' names are correctly displayed in the guild listing.
What went wrong?
Your guild inventory is displayed fully and correctly.
In my inventory window? Whereever I am? New tab?

And last but not least:
When will I finally be able to name my packers?
