I want to know the following things from NeverX.
What is the time table for implementation of items promised in the manuel? What are the items being addressed currently? When will they be implemented by? Where is the game we were promised and when will the various elements that are not here yet be here. No general, smoke and mirror vague answers please. This is a business. There are flow charts and time charts (at least there are suppose to be). On Various posts on this board there are many, many items listed that need to be implemented and fixed. When are they going to be fixed and in what order.
As players we pay the rent, and we have a right know. It is our money collected each month, and it is the hours of our lives invested in the character development, these hours of our lives can never be regained.
And yes I am grumbling alot. And as much as I would like to, I don't see all roses and sunshine...maybe I have been misled (lie may be too harsh of a word) to often by the folks at Neverx.
I think it is time for Nevrax to come clean...(always a good start at rebuilding credibility)....and tell us the flow chart ( with specific realistic time deadlines) for getting the game we were promised in the manuel....some one high up approved that manuel, and ok'd that it be shipped with the box that was also approved...I seriously doubt this happened without the CEO being directly involved in the loop. The game described in the manuel is a beautiful game. I just want what I was promised, and I want to know when that will be.
I think what I am asking for is fair...and also would be good business for Nevrax (honesty), as opposed to the old style of NeverX which is less than straight forward talk commonly known as .......(to avoid censorhip word is omitted). ***Edited by Administration: Use of foul language is not permitted on these message boards. doooood.
Take a deep breath, and slowly back away from the keyboard.
Maybe you should call David up and have a chat with him or something. Give him a piece of your mind.
edit to add: sorry to be harsh, gh. It's just you spammed the board with redudant hate threads so much recently. I do wish you feel better. These are all valids complaint, but sometimes, you just have to roll with the punches. My belief is that you cant treat an mmorpg, any mmorpg, as a final product. It is a SERVICE moreso than a product, unnerstand wut I am saying?

Giving specific dates is a really, really poor idea for any business as there are many factors that can get in the way of meeting those targets and the complainers in this case are extremely likely to point and go 'AHA!' without listening to any excuses, valid or otherwise.
Some of the 'features' in the manual I doubt will ever come in now, they seem based on a very old conception of the game that was no longer true when it went to retail.
The two things really missing are...
1) Outposts
2) Kami/Karavan DP immunity/No penalty tickets.
The first we know is coming and is in closed testing on the ATS. It was ready enough to be shown off at E3. We're probably looking at another month or so of testing I would think.
The second isn't going to happen but is going to appear in the altered form of these DP removal tickets that have been mentioned.
Other things have likely fallen by the wayside, like the 'Have Children' option, either that or they're delayed while other, more large-market-appeal items are worked on.
If we hold on just a little longer we're likely to see the promised patch improvements, the spring clean and the outposts all come in at relatively the same time. Then, with a bit of luck and good business thinking, Ryzom should get a second 'push', especially to former subscribers.

Zzzzz
we have a saying the UK 'change the record'.
Very unconstuctive post from me but as Vinnyq said take a deep breath, relax, and try to put things in perspective. the things in the manual were written at least 9 months ago, probably more. things have changed... get used to it and try to look forwards not backwards.
there, much more constructive now

Of course according to the Random House dictionary the definition bull is --slang, for lies or nonsense, and the definition for sheets is-- a broad, thin layer or covering. So, yes it does sound like foul language, yet it does have a very correct non foul meaning (except maybe in the mind of some folks), to wit: lies that cover or obscure something up (like the truth).

Actualy guys, wouldn't supprise me too much if the manule<sp?> was written way back in second, or even first, Beta. And look how much things have changed since then? Well, kinda. Can't actualy do a befor-and-after with the code it self, but still...

Soon, it is the best answer you will get.
Players don't know.
CSR can't tell, even when they know.
Devs/Nevrax gives a date when they have a release ready.

Just a tip.
If you are so upset about it, just quit and get your enjoyment out of another game / activity. Games are there to give you an enjoyable past time. Not more, not less.
Things will come when they come. If the wait is too long for you, draw your conclusions (I already did).
