Hi,
Firstly let me say I dont often post on here but i keep an eye on the forums. This is so anoying that i felt i had to say something.
Secondly, I love this game. Ive been playing about 6 months and i think its great. The players are the best of any MMO ive played.
Ok on to the meat of this post.
Last weekend some clever person discovered a website called http://www.ryzom-ring.com and worked out that yes it did belong to Nevrax. Well after several poasts/replies on here there was no official word about the site. Not suprising with E3 a couple of days away, maybe there would be an official anouncement then...
Monday, Lots of speculation on these boards. From Nevrax Silence....
Tuesday, The Ryzom-Ring site is updated with images and some advertising spiel. These boards go into overdrive, with people both concerned about potential exploits, and excited about the potential creative freedom. Hmm, maybe we will get an official Press Release with some actual info in it ?.... From Nevrax Silence...
Wednesday, A post appears on the news page of the official site. Hooray at last some info ?.... No.... some pictures of the outside of the convention center and a link to mmorpg.com where they repeat the scant info thats on the ryzom-ring site. From Nevrax (about ryzom-ring) Silence...
Thursday, E3 public day 2, surely some info today.... No... heres some pictures of the crowds and some booth babes. The only interesting thing about the post is that the latest patch will not be this week.....
maybe today (friday) there will be some info but im rapidly giving up hope.
Maybe its just me, but i couldnt give a flying Yubo about the crowds or the convention centre. I dont want to have to go too mmorpg.com for official info that should be on the official site.
This could be the most important event in the recent history of MMORPG's, or it might not be. Its just too hard to know with the lack of information at the moment.
Anyway, ill end this rant here in the hope of info soon. Like i said at the start, I LOVE THIS GAME, and because of that i feel strongly about it. I realy want it to do well, but Nevrax seem to be doing there best to fade into the background hum of mmo failures.
