Newcomer view of Ryzom

Hello,

Around one month ago, i decided to give a try to Ryzom after a big session of EQ2 / WoW. I have to be honest, within the few days, the details of the game, its community, the game originality made me like Ryzom.

With the levels, and while learning the game, i discovered bug flaw in Ryzom, i could easily make a book of it, but again, the game is attractive, so ... i bypassed all those details and was hoping with time, those flaw will be fixed (mainly with outpost big patch announced), so before trial was done, i decided to buy ryzom and continu to play, to wait to see how it will goes.

I have to say that, with this E3 announcement, im really disappointed and start to regret my decisions about giving a chance to Ryzom.

I keep seeing everywhere players quit ryzom, hell, you want more players on ryzom ? Simple! Fix the skills (Melee is totally unbalanced, and beside Ele Magic & Def magic, all other skills are useless), finish the game (what was really planned, and outpost is only a small percentage of it) and fixes the zillions of bug, ryzom is good, but even a beta game is less bugged!

Basically, my vision of ryzom is its still in beta stage, so why i play ryzom you will ask ? Because the community is awesome, and it make this game great, but like many, i dont think it will make i will stay on ryzom forever sadly :(

Regards.

Agree there are things that need to be fixed. Really the only skill that is horribly unbalanced is ranged weapons. Melee is only unbalanced when compared to Elem magic. Just as a thought, maybe it's actually elem magic that's unbalanced and in need of fixing.

Don't mind me...I'm musing out loud....

magic that's unbalanced and in need of fixing.
Quick fix:
Remove double missile (also from Healing Magic).
But too late... too late to fix unbalance nerfing one skill.

Don't remove double missile.... it's too much fun combining things. :D

Just rein in the power a little bit, 75% maybe? It only makes sense that when casting two spells simultaneously they can't be as strong as casting one alone...

But even that little nerf would make a lot of people very angry :p
