This is HUGE!
I think this is the best thing that can happen, better than outposts, better than expansions, better than new skill trees, better than anything! (as long as it does become a reality).
I can't wait

This is very exciting for me. Not so much for the player created regions and such, although that IS pretty cool. I'm excited because if they get tools developed to such a degree that the public can use them to design levels/events/etc., then they should be able to use the tools themselves to create "official" events that finally progress the "Saga" of Ryzom and get the story behind the world moving.

how about creating a room for the guild with gaps an canyons to "easy-kill" lots of mobs without being watched by gms... -.-
btw if "that" is the addon I am really disappointed, I (we) expected much more, like a new country (yeah we can build it on our own...), new race etc. just take a look in the e3 threads.
maybe it is too early to say what that will bring, but that is not what they had to offer in an addon imho..
dont get me wrong, I like creating a lot, I did it the whole day with morrowind editor.

achim, you obviously have never played MUDs or see the power of the mods community in action

So I don't suppose this is something they have been secretly working on and it's about to be released?
But probably months and months down the line?

I do not dislike the idea of usercreated stuff, I like creating things and to play things made by players, but I had hoped that there will be
- be a new race
- new mobs
- new skills
- lvl cap up to 300 or even 500
maybe we will have to possibilities to create our own stuff with 3dstudiomax etc. but I hoped to see those things in my short list for example (maybe something more)..

I am sure they will have those too (hopefully).
But all those things you mentioned, ew land, new race, new skills tree, etc, will get old after 6 months.
However, if you provide a tools to let player create new content, the possibilites are limitless.

No evidence to support this, but maybe you won't get xp in user-created areas.
I'm not sure what can be done to prevent populating an area full of supreme mats,
unless maybe harvesting won't be allowed in user-created areas either.
Is what you then end up with just cute little areas to meet and explore?
