Primitive Tribe Bosses

This is just disappointing. I want my Cute Dagger of Uberness.

I killed a boss cute, and he dropped a boring q110 bracelet with no mods. I was expecting an excellent something, maybe some armor, or a consumable, i don't know, but basically it was nothing special! Even killing ora, a level 60 yubo yields me something unique 10 excellent mats!!! But all I get is one measly bracelet that sells for a couple thousand dapper.

However I do not know what to expect on something like this. What would be really cool is if they dropped racial weaponry/armor :-) new items, new textures, yay........

oh the boss was Doren and I had to kill him cause theres like 20 copies of him running around winds of muse and its really annoying and stupid. Why make a level 50-100 area if you are just gonna spam it with wandering bosses. Beyond spam, super spam!!!

I'm actually looking forward to one day going on a Doren killing spree, payback time for the hundreds of deaths i received by cutes when sneaking through Bounty Beaches for the first time o.O

but yeah something unique rather than generic jewelry would b good.

Yup just what this game needs.... more "unique" items, more places to camp cuz camping is FUN!!!

Please not, we already have unique armor dropping from bosses, if we get unique jewelry and weapon drops as well then what use will there be left for harvesting and crafting?

doesnt have 2 b uber-unique, but i think it would b nice to have something a bit more exciting than jewelry.. could be just some excellent q110 cute mats.. *dreads to think about quartering Doren*

for the record i am a forager and crafter above anything else, it would b wrong to ruin the currently great system of players crafting 99.9% of equipment, but i don't see a problem with special mats... shoot me down in flames if i'm missing something.

I agree. I think the officer armors have only done harm to the community, and I really hope Ryzom never becomes one of those games where the goal is to have all the uber-lewt.

err....hes a regular q110 boss
i said like an excellent q110 cute style dagger would be interesting
leading into a crafting style for cute weaponry and armor that would be associated with their camp, and closely related to tryker, and of course i would not expect mq and hq versions of a primitive tribes stuff, all it would mean is a few sprites

you didnt read into that properly methinks
instead you complain about über loot

im sorry for having caused those thoughts

Yeah, I think some "neat stuff" would be nice, as long as there's no gameplay benefit really.

I'm just agreeing with sidusar and Machie... whatever-his-name-is.

The unique drops don't have to be uber. If they are, for example, very poor light armor, that just looks really good... ie different. Everyone would want it, but it is not going to make you super powerful. Hence the balance.
