Mage has access to a variety of CC ( root, stun, sleep, fear, ect ). I understand these are linked spells so im assuming the effect will remain as long as you keep the link up. (If not id be very curious to how these work ) If this is the case what do the other abilties offer over stun? Perma stunning a mob seems like the best cc to me and the sap increase is rather minimal. So my question is, is that how these spells work, and if so why offer anything besides stun? I may be totally off base here, but have been having a hard time finding any info on this topic, and would be glad to hear any experiences people have had with these spells. TY

You might want check the Players Guide Forums a few forums down. More than a couple of people have listed the spells, their relative merits, and a few walk-throughs. That should give you everything you need.
