Windermeer announced events globaly through the around chat, I prefered that over the system info announcements on Arispotle. I've sent in a suggestion ticket on it and I know some in the guild have as well. Just wondering what the general consensus is.

I don't like having them in the system info window as that window scrolls too much and it's too easy to miss an announcement. I liked how on Windermeer they showed up in the main chat window in a different color than all other messages. It was much harder to miss something.

Even better, I like your idea of a separate events tab. This could also be where the chat for the event took place and could span regions and lands. I've found that on events that have you running from one place to the next, you can end up missing the talk that occurs in Around and with shouts if you don't make it to the next location as quick as everyone else.

I think a seperate window would be nice, but the tab idea seems close enough.
