Those of you that know me in game and have had the chance to play with me in game know me to be a nice guy and pretty level headed. That being said, for whatever crazy reason, maybe Atys aligned with the stars and moons just right, maybe it was all that fine firewine i had, but all kidding aside it was me just being human and dumb; before the router problem which caused the game to crash for some of us yesterday there was an minor mishap in the Dunes of Exile in the Desert while the party I was in was busy battling Aen.
I was making a video of our battle with Aen which also recorded this incident, and fortunately didn't loose it all after the crash. After watching the video after the game crashed on me due to the router problem at the SoR site, I realized I mistook the actions of a group from Melinoe as being done on purpose and with malicious intent when all that happened was that they were trying to escape Aen's guards and did not mean to aggro them on us. Afterwards, of course, instead of being level headed and calm, I accused them of dragging aggro on us in region chat and was generally upest. I WAS WRONG.
I want to pubically apologize to Aphodine, Loomas and all of Melinoe, since I don't remember all the names in your party, for assuming and judging that you were up to no good and accusing you forthwith in public region chat without thinking.
Now, why am I posting this? One: because I owe them an apology and they deserve one. Two: to show that even a nice guy like me who is normally level headed can even get grumpy when tired and/or make a mistake by misjudging the situation. Three: That is not like me to get upset so easily. Four: to point out that maybe not every incident that people see as someone as dragging aggro on them is on purpose or done maliciously. Most of the time it is an honest mistake of the individual(s) that drug the aggro, and while granted, I am sure that there are incidences of people doing so on purpose, this was not one of them.
I ask everyone to think before you accuse someone of such an action as it can unfairly label a person and/or a guild as being steal killers or aggro draggers.
