If you type /invite into the system window it sys you need two arguments, the name of the character and a group name.
such as
/invite fyrx coolchat11
When I first saw it I thought it was the type of personal chat group that valrese just mentioned in the "What system of feature do you want" thread thing.
Anyone know anything about it?

Try
/invite Noinossalg team
or
/invite Noinossalg guild
That is the 2 I know of that work. (obviously replace my toon name with the toon you wish to invite)
Usually we find these things out by just trying stuff: If you knew /follow worked why didn't you try /invite ???
Noin.

This does nothing for me, neither does writing /invite when i have the person i want invited targeted. I need to right click them and select team invite.
If i do /invite [name] it just says it needs 2 arguments, like described above

try /invite "name" "over to my house and party like it's 1999!"

I came across /invite when trying to find a way to invite someone to my team when they weren't in visual range.
The command doesn't work. /invite <name> team/guild doesn't work either. IIRC it doesn't do anything and gives no error in sys info.
So either this is an old command from beta or a new one that hasn't been inplemented yet.

man, noone wants to read the whole thread
Kostika, noin posted how you can invite to a team or a guild by typing in the above, i understand that it doesnt seem to work, but additionally it was already refuted above
i havent tried it myself for distance inviting to teams, and perhaps we can harass some GMs and get them to spill the beans
im also pisses off that nevrax wont tell us any game mechanics including emote commands or simple invite commands, its ont thing to explore game mechanics ourself, its another thing to have to try different code to learn interface commands.
RIDICULOUS

I have to agree with you on this, I was gob smacked when they removed the 'wisper' command because it was never used. I have been playing since april/may 2004 (1 year

) and I didn't even know about this chat command.
A full list of commands would be nice - I don't mind if its a full list and have to work out myself which ones work and which ones don't!

I did read the whole thread, that's why I mentioned it doesn't work. Or at least doesn't work anymore.
Chill.
