What Ryzom related websites do people like? If I'm looking for any data about the game I go to either the Ballistic Mystix site:
http://www.ballisticmystix.com/index.jsp
or the Ryzom Database:
http://ryzom.raum.com/

They're both full of great data, maps, pics, whatever. Anyone else have a site that has it all?

To answer the question.... Nope... no other decent sites.

Sidebar:

Hands down the two best sites dealing with the game to date... Like to thank the people behind both sites as I'm sure it'd been more work than anyone not involved would ever understand.

Thanks again,

yes, those 3 sites (BM, Ryzom Database, and DT's) are definitely the best. I have been VERY impressed by BM's constant updates. These are not small updates as well, they have full armor pictures they are working on and that is a huge task. What has been done with BM's site takes a bit of time and coding to do :) Fun stuff though I might add for those that enjoy it ;) DT's site also has a lot of great articles and stuff that I found very useful when getting started in this game.

Absolutely agree. But let's not forget that they can't do it all. From their main page:
BallisticMystix wrote:-Help gathering information is appreciated: We're always looking for new information to enter on our site. Our guild is comprised mainly of low-level Tryker so we don't have easy access to the entire range of resources out there in the game. If you have resources you'd like to see added to the site, please don't hesitate to send them to newinfo@ballisticmystix.com.
One area I've noticed is mission info. Next time you're standing next to a mission giver, grab some screenies of the missions and their requirements and forward it to them. If you see something is missing from a map, screenshot your map with flag and forward it. They've got great organization and structure; let's help them fill in the details.

A few weeks back I noticed they didn't have either TP point in Grove of Confusion marked. Didn't matter to me, because I knew where those were. After realizing what a selfish attitude that was, I flagged my map and forwarded screenshots. Easy-peasy. I've been organizing fame runs for my guild, but BM's NPC mission info is a little lacking; help 'em out. Get those screenshots taken and send 'em in.

Thanks for the support. Indeed, the biggest task, and one that will never end, is gathering and entering data. Most information is pretty easy to convey with screenshots (in-game map, material stats, missions, etc.) so just snap a pic and send it along.

If you send in information and it doesn't appear right away, don't get discouraged. We work hard to get to everything and not let anything slip through the cracks, we just get a little backed up sometimes with the data entry :)

I'm working on it!! Geez! My poor mouse... click, click, click... Next! :)

Please keep 'em coming!

BTW, DoubleTap's guides are da'bomb! As a newbie I used them. I think we all did getting started.

Sorry our NPC database is lacking... Roaming NPC's are tough to track down. Hunters, Hawkers, Patrollers, Prospectors can wander quite a bit and Journeymen can cross region boundries.

We have access to all lands but we tend to favor our homeland, Aeden Aqueous, which we have yet to complete (you may find us asking for rez's in Enchanted Isle...).

Many thanks to those that have contributed in the past! Huge props to Karu, Saiwin, Gecker, Dagger, Mike-who-killed-my-mailbox and more (I'm at work so I don't have my list)!

Learned an important lesson that night. Never send a large email and then just go to bed. Watch it in case it times out. Sorry about that. It'll never happen again.

There is alot of good info out there, and like stated above none of us can do it alone...

Targosz, these days as long as your registered you see everything but Guild stuff. Lots of things (maps, tactics etc) I used to keep in guild but there is not much that isn't public now... Only our plans for world peace are kept secret these days in guild areas :P
