April 22, 2005 : Two days of free play time !
To compensate for the server downtimes we had lately, we are crediting players from all communities with two extra days of free play. This free play will only apply to paying accounts and not to free trial accounts.

Is it just me? Or does anyone else think that this is above and beyond for a bit of a glitch in the game, and a few minor inconveniences. I wish Microsoft would give me a dollar every time Word crashed and burned and I lost the document I was working on.

Software has bugs, hardware crashes; nothing is perfect this is a fact of life.

I am declining the 2 free days of play. Let’s start a movement and all decline this very magnanimous offer. It is more important to me that the game continues.

I dont really need extra days especially at this time that Nevrax has problems.
I only want to be able to play Ryzom with my Hawks. The rest are optional.
But i think Nevrax didnt want to offer us those days but they more likely wanted to show their apology for all this mess, so they used this kind of gesture.
I hope all those problems which keep coming one after another pass, and calm find us once more

I myself am very greatful of these two days. Not because 2 days is a lot to get for free, but it is honestly just a way of them showing that they do recognize the downtime and inconvenience it has been to some. Though you may look at it as something not necessary I look at it as something necessary. You do not know how many people I have heard talking about how they should do this for us, and now they have. This is one more thing that will help keep players. You know the story about the feather that broke the camel's back. Well this is a way to remove one of the feathers before it breaks.

I have to agree, it is a very nice thing for Nevrax to do. Was it necassary? Nah, with some things it's the thought that counts, and this was a nice thought! I for one was a bit frustrated over the weekend, but as Mimir stated, Yubo poop happens. (well, atleast that's my translation

I think it would be appropriate to keep the flames and complaints out of this thread. Let's break a record and have just one thread that stays on a positive and up-beat direction.

Is it it a nice gesture? yes.
Am I worried about two days money? no.
Will i decline the free days if allowed? of course, just tell me where I sign.
