guildless once more.

Just wanted to write a rant, then some common report...
Now just a notification that I am guildless again for no good reason but a database messing up.
Nevrax has three days to fix this, or face my wrath and my subscription cancellation...

Unfortunately I agree with Frydeswinde on this one, I am a little fed up with the problems lately. I play this game for my Hawks, without my Hawks there is no reason for me to play anymore. So as a programmer irl i know the problems of running a huge project, but i can bear many things like extended downtime, lag, bugs etc etc. But Atys without my Hawks it feels empty, that one I cant bear, so this time do what u have to do fast.

Last time i was without guild for 6 days cos of same problem. This time i hope for you there are less lost chars, so this will be fixed fast.
Every time i see "please wait" dialog i wonder what will be broken.
Last night i saw several characters without any name, guild name or title. Even in team window those ppl are empty string. Their chat was broken (team and around, i guess guild also). My guild chat was also broken after they start that goo event. Hope this will be fixed when i log again after work.

It is a shame that this has happened, but the first fix (for people who were online at the time) was applied at about midnight UK and put lots of people back into their guilds. The fact that it is coming back in this way implies to me that it might be an issue that requires very specific attention at some bits of the code/databases. Even getting those people back in such a "short" (comparatively) amount of time gives me the impression that they are working non-stop at this.

The guild issue, which is not the same as last time, is being fixed as we speak, the ETA is fairly imminent and should restore everything in one go. This fix will cover everyone and will go in place of the emergency fix that was placed between 1am and 3am this morning.
Many thanks for your continued patience

Sorry, I am not a native english speaker, but is imminent about the same as "soon (tm)"?

Your are welcome, but as you can see, it is running out for me... Thursday I will look at my char and see or not see a brocolli there. Using the facts and observations done, I will think about this.

"imminent (tm)", if I remember correctly is the things that occur before "soon (tm)" and I guess at the time you would have expected the "soon (tm)" stuff to have been done.
@ Law - Thanks for keeping us posted.

Wait, wait, just had a flash in the head!
Isn't "imminent" something like "inevitable" with a slight flavor of soon?
And isnt this Soul who is posting, not Law? Pfff, seems that with the loss of my guild, my powers to think rationally have gone out of the window as well...
