The day has finally come, I am going to give it to everyone as it is; and alot of people and going to be shocked, though most will stay in their ignorant self rightgeuos tunnel...

I am Australian, & I dont believe we have any such "Chapter 11" escape clause; if a Business gets in deep water.... its kinda "Sink or Swim" - no help, no second chance.



My problem (& my post) is that I and many other have posted "IDEAS" to make this game a sucess!!!

But it seems the people who play the most, who love the game the most (I believe the term "Fanboi" can be used??) are the very ones who shoot these ideas down.

Think of this everyone - if ANY-ONE of us could actually implement the ideas we suggest, we would be employed by Nevrax... so GROW UP and stop wasting everyones time trying to make out you know better.... cause look whats its got you?

Thanks to your childish "..haha nice idea.. but AS-IF that can happen... do you know what is involved in making that happen..." response to PAYING CUSTOMERS who are making SUGGESTIONS for IMPROVEMENTS, this game is now struggling.....

Lack of Content, Lack of Features (some promised pre-release) and lack of Customers......

WHY???

Because of FORUM WNKERS!!!! (FANBOIS)

I have just seen TWO "i'm leaving posts" in the last 24 hours... and we all know that for every one of those, another dozen leave siliently...


I made a suggestion yesterday.... trying to help out the Company and the Customers of what I think would turn this "Game" around into a raging-success....

My only response, was to tell me just how impossible one of the ideas was....

GREAT FCKIN SUPPORT MATE! - DAZMAN Are you going to cry when this game goes under? - cause if you honestly thought I expected/believed that "Streaming Data updates" could be implemented with a click of your fingers or even at all, into SoR - then you are either a complete MORON or you are just an A-HOLE trying to demonstrate your belief that you possess superior knowledge.

Eitherway, that post of mine last night is a clear demonstration that the very people who will be effected the most if it SoR goes under, would rather spend their time and effort pulling apart everyone elses ideas to make this a great game and community and focusing on everything WRONG with the idea....



SO WHAT IS IT GOING TO BE?


Will we pull together and work with Nevrax and make this a SUCESS??
or
Will we continue to fight with each other on the forums; wasting Nevrax times (while they sort the real suggestions, from the flamewars); and watch this dream sink before our very eyes?


We hold more power then they do, customers ALWAYS hold the power....
no customer, no income, no company.....


The amount of SHT that goes on in this Forum, no wonder new arrivals are slow and few between.... and the seaminly barren world of Atys is so, because how anyone could honestly know what the community wants is beyond me; as it seems that people cry and cry for something, then when its implemented, cry and cry its not right and they dont want it anymore....

But you are wrong.

Nobody here on forum or ingame has the point of view to decide something. This POV has only the management of Nevrax. Noone else. Nobody knows all facts to decide but the boss(es).

It is *not* our job to run Nevrax or SoR. We can make suggestions, but we can not claim to get them taken.

To make it clear: I dont mean you in person, but all those players in hundreds of gameforums always talk about how the players have the power and how they know all better. This is just one big laugh to me (not you !) WTF are those ppl think they are ?

From a former post i know that you are willing to spend your time with SoR. But you talked about your fear to loose a char after a few month to a bankrupty. Same here, but my world is bright and i still have the ability to belife.

I think you are a straight man, so dont let the pessimists drag you down !
Play your game, make the best fun out of it as you would do in real life.

It isnt bad. Still reading, posting and playing. I known other forums and i know why i am playing Ryzom. Because the posters of the other forums are in the other games

I have read posts about GMs who where put under pressure. Or where cheaters and exploiders (and i mean really exploid) where not punished cause master GM did knew them personally. All that crap you can imagine.

One of my points why players should have nothing to do with management.
We make suggestions, thats all.

People come, people go. Two leaving posts in 24 hours is nothing unusual in MMORPG forums.

No matter where you go you are always going to meet people who disagree with you. Its all just part of the whole discussion process.

We don't have to agree all the time on everything. In fact better ideas usually develop from discussion and disagreement of ideas.

I'm no expert on the matter but I expect that things like the low profile of SoR and competing games have more to do with player numbers than people arguing on the forums.

Yes there are so many great posts in this forum, and yes i have seen some far worse then this.

I was focusing more the posts directly relating to the development and future of the game... not questions like "...what does terrain specialisation do??..." & "...how often do the BOSSESS spawn..." etc...

I love constructive disagreements (debates) as if everyone agreed, the world would be worse off....

My main point is, is when ideas (and opinions) are put forward to make this better, rather then focus on the actual logistics of achieving it (as that IS Nevrax's Job) but to say wether or not you would appreciate that feature if it worked and what other features you would like to see added or removed.

No one need care, as no one knows really how or has access to do so; the actual implementations of anything within this game - so dont talk about wether or not sometihng CAN be done, and start focusing and what we DO or DONT WANT!

As for my inclusion of "Dazman" he is more then welcome to say something back to me, but NO ONE and I mean NO ONE is welcome to commment on his behalf - Davoy; say you doubt he meant offense, but YOU do NOT know... stay out of what does not involve you, as Davoy you have just added credit to my post by demonstating the very thing I am trying to say.

Uncronstuctive WNKERS like you making comments that add no value to the forum to get there 5 seconds of feeling high and mighty.

Several other posts made here can tie into this... it was mentioned that tickets, wether suggestions, bugs, etc should have somekinda dB or KB we can search and even rate them. (like a petition)

And someone else also said something like ... "do we need to resubmit our question in ever Q&A if ours are not answered..." good point DO WE???





I am sorry for all those who are offended by my direct point, but the sugar coating has long come off - i love the game yes, for my own reason have not played for a week, and probably wont play for several more.

I could have easily canceled my account, but why? to speed up the death of this game? NO WAY!!!



Also, there was a post, might even be the sticky about the "Chapter 11 style happenings" where at somepoint someone wrote something like...

"...worring about it isnt going to fix it... so just keep playing and enjoying the game.."

add that to the "developments" post from Xavier, and i thought focusing on ways to make this game better, assuming all will be ok was the right way to go....



BUT DAZMAN (Davoy got anything to say?) would rather focus on the negative side of my postive post - I have no problems if NO ONE likes my idea... but disklike it for what it is, not because you dont think it can be done!
