If you're still on the new player island, you can't get an apartment. Once you travel to the mainland, there will be a "Homin Apartment Caretaker" in the capitol city (Pyr, Yrkranis, Fairhaven, Zora) where you can purchase your apartment for 1M dapper.

If you're having trouble tracking the apartment caretaker down, you can use the NPC finder here:

Just pick "Homin Apartment Caretaker" for title and whichever city you're in and it'll have a link to the map showing where they are.

and you dont need to put PLZ HELP! in the title of all your threads, people will help without it

Also note ....

Currently, you can own only ONE appartment and you can't sell it

So when I retire to Min Cho. I guess we will have to sleep under the stars.
