I signed on really quickly to see my name is now Raynes s. Seeing that I roleplay Reynes S is just plain stupid. It was said that we would be able to add Windermeer to our names and I don't see that option. I don't have a problem with making an addition to my name, but please let me choose what that is.

Just curious Raynes, did you see the name change at character select or only when you got in?

It was only when I pulled up the profile screen in game.

I'm not sure that your name has been changed, you're just seeing some poor grammer. I think that it's meant to say "Raynes' Identity" but due to some sloppy coding they've generalised it to "Raynes s Identity" (should be "Raynes's Identity").

A way to test if this is correct, hit F10 and look in the target window - it should give your name in there with or without the S

I have been p's Identity for as long as I can remember ... think celtis is right on this one.

If you used the Config UI screen you can display you chars name above its head.

I will check into this tonight.

Regardless of the answer to this issue, I too am wondering about being able to identify myself as having "come over" from the Windermeer server. We were told that option might be made available, but so far I see no sign of it.

By the way, it should read Raynes', not Raynes's. A property or an
attribute of Raynes is indicated with the ' alone, not an additional s.

Raynes' kumquat, Raynes' attitude, Raynes' spiritual leader, etc.
