Yup, that is right. You will soon be able to enjoy Q180 shields and not just choice stuff. I have been selling excellents with regularity.

I make only Matis at the moment as I am not an uber-gamer. I enjoy exploring much more. Oh yeah and DP, I love DP, just aask my guildmates. they think I am dillusional. So, back on topic. It is Q180 Living bucklers and Q180 Medium Quality fulls. That is what I have to offer.

I list in Matis, and I do complete special orders. PM me here and I can have your order ready when we merge, or wait and see me in-game and send me a tell.

As a reassurance to fellow shield crafters, I in no way intend to hijack your market, just offering my services. The only other shieldcrafter that came out of the closet and is known to me is Loly, a cute little Tryker that can wear medium armor like nobody else!

They ARE in the same place. All servers have the same mob / resource layout.

And welcome to our server. Not seen many people running around with shields though.

I would be more then honored if you would share your precious knowledge with a humble Tryker girl like me, who can only craft lvl 120 Tryker shields and bucklers at the moment, but is very willing to advance in this skill. So I hope we will get in contact as soon as our servers unite. We are both followers of Jena after all.

By the way there are quite some people who would like to have special (living/electric/burning/waving) bucklers, some only for the fashion though...

1: The nodes are in the same location, just seems the spots move around through the node. And I am not sure this is the same on all servers, as I would not be surprised there is a rondam element in that.

2. Not many people with shields because of the lower damage using 1h and the total lack of proper shields. Kinda like ranged but without the use of bullets.

and well, there is no trouble with market because 1 people can't fulfill a "shard-wide" market.

it let me start thinking that we should start corporation-like organizations to make good market-share distribution..
e.g shields :
all the shieldsmith have to know each other. when one receive a /tell (or by preference a in-game mail), and if the crafter is not able to do the order, he will just answer to ask another shieldsmith of the same corporation.

I guess there is guild working a bit like this (Evolution maybe ?) but a confederation melting EE/NA crafters should be great

I like the idae very much! Actually I walk all day my Shieldsmith title on, so I'm a walking advertisement so to say So if the other shield crafters are interested I'm in!

I would be in for this too. I was expectig to pick up another races line of shileds soon. (maybe not that soon ) I have seen all of the racial bucklers to date. Seems like there is no need for me to do the Tryker since we appear to be banding together to form the 'Atys Shield Crafting Association' (ASCA). Seems like we may be able to regulate the market a bit too.

In addition, some education for all those sword tossers on shields, damage, damage absorption, and the shielding skill may be in order. (The healers would love us for sure).

P.S. I bet the ASCA will have some kick a$$ parties!!!

This is great news *bounce* I ditched 2h weapons ages ago, currently 151 in 1h mace so not far off a ql 180 shield, and a proper parry one too bliss

How high can the parry mod go on a heavy shield?

I am hereby applying as a preferred heavy armorcrafter, resource locator for the ASCA. Very busy on trying to make a proper parry armor with choice/excellent mats from the lakelands. I think I have a nice combo that can be dug up, well, at least no penalties

Either way, consider me a sponsor for experiments.
