MASS combat training in Pyr
Posted: Mon Mar 28, 2005 3:42 am
Thursday, 2005-03-31 @ 21:00 EST (9pm) in Pyr, Burning Desert.
This training session is for anyone who is interested in knowing their place on the battlefield during raids as well as potential trek/raid leaders who wish to learn from some of my experiences leading large combat movements.
So whether you are a brand new player to the game looking to not get yelled at during large events :0) or a veteran player interested in seeing how I've adapted my trek/RAID leadership over the months, come on down it will be a blast!
Some topics to be covered:
- Expectations for the group in general during large crisis events.
- Expectations for different classed players of different levels during large crisis events. (tanks, healers, low levels, high levels, etc).
- Knowing what to attack, when, and why for maximum efficiency of the fighting party.
- Tips for quickly finding a group.
- Responsibilities for each of the following positions during raids: raid leader, team leaders, advisors, and the rest of the "army".
- Tips for maintaining organization during large scale player events even as a grunt soldier.
This basically just covers my experience as a raid leader for mass party combat. The tricks I've come up with to maintain organization. What I expect from everyone when I am leading the group. And how each person can best help the situations as they surface.
