Speed

What effects how fast we run. I have notice my 55 melee char runs much faster than my friend who have just left the n00b island and are only lvl 15ish.
Do you get speed increases when you level? Even in heavy armour and running with a pike i seem to easily out run most people, and i only noticed as they kept asking me to slow down.
Is their some kind of hidden speed bonus when we level or something?

I would also like to know the answer to this one as I also seem to run a little faster than most people.
I have a speed bonus of 120% in my personal profile while standing.

As far as i know about those 120% 140% etc speed factors:
Bug.
Heh, yep, we're supposed to run at 100% all the time and only get little difference between chars.
Last night i reached top speed of 180% ... but i didn't have speed up at this time; i could have been faster than a Ocyx at 280%
Just hope they fix that soon cause i can't sneak with that.

Must be a bug. I logged on today to find im 140% speed. Yesterday was 120%.
Nothin has changed at all, no new levels or skills

the speed factor is buged at this time. it switches between 100 and 140% runspeed. we couldn´t reconstruct the reason yet but we´ll see
