they're working on cleaning up their code, which can sometimes remove some important lines, duplicate some lines or cause loops..

I've had not so much lag, but slowdowns, but unlike before, they self correct within about a minute at most. That's already an improvement IMO.

Hi everyone

I've checked with our technical staff and we are not aware of any server-side or network-related lag or performance issues. We've been watching the Server closely throughout the past few days after receiving the first reports, and the performance has been within the boundaries at normal levels.

But we won't just be ignoring your reports, so I'd like to ask you to inform our CS immediately when you experience these lag issues again, and provide them with more detailed information as to when and where exactly they occur - Information that would be useful to us would be..where in the game world you are, what you've been doing at that time in-game (i.e. fighting a specific boss mob in a specific zone), where you play from and which ISP (Internet Provider) you use, to help us trace the cause of this problem.

*Expects the CSRs to get a pile of reports every hour tomorrow from anyone who actually does this*

Lag can happen on 4 sides. First on customer side. No way to fix this. Second on the global network (eg. main routing points). No way to fix this. Third at the "outer side" of the servers network interface. Nearly no way to fix this. Last is lag on the server. This is the only point where nevrax could do something. So its 3:1 that lag occures directly on the server.

It is NOT a user side related issue. Whenever a lag/slowdown situation occurs it hits the whole guild. We are a pretty international guild so we are spread out over lots of ISPs.

Its totally independant on what you do either. It happens if you are casting, running, harvesting, or just standing around.

The usual way it happens is you start to move / act very slow, then a few connection errors appear in a very fast succession, more like a blinking for 5-6 times, then you are still slowed but with speed picking up slowly again.
