First, great job CSRs. I'm sure this wasn't easy to do. I have a few suggestions while everything is fresh in my head though.

1) Make clear what the event is going to be before the event. No one knew what this was ahead of time.

2) Post the rules on the forums. This will help sort out alot of confusion. That way people can refer back to them. Also people can ask questions ahead of time here if needed.

3) It was very hard to tell where you were supposed to be. Maybe if only the playing teams were on the field.

4) Many people found the rules to be needlessly complicated. The knifing on the bases seemed unneeded for example. Maybe simplifying the rules would help a little.

Still good job guys. I know running events isn't easy.

On the point of knifing on the bases seeming unneeded, believe me, it was needed. If it hadn't been for outpost knifing, the Stormdancers team would have scored 9 instead of 8, as one of our team was killed by an outpost. Sure, most people didn't notice it, because most people were hopped-upto-the-eyeballs in Melee levels and armour, but this was an event for everyone, not just for high level people :)

It added a little more strategy to the game, and it also gave the outposts something to do instead of just standing there looking pretty ;)

Fantastic event CSR team! We had so much fun :) I'm going to be away from Ryzom for two weeks come monday, so glad I got to do something super fun before leaving :)

Great idea for event, and I would certainly like to see this again. :)
I agree with the points Kostika made regarding rules etc. It was a bit too complicated to have the rules sprung on us at the start of the event.
Also, the original format was a knockout competition but i realise that this wasnt possible due to the time it was taking. However, with betting encouraged on the event, i dont agree with the "winner", who i assume to be Stormdancers ?

*edit* ah the post was edited, no overall winner i see :)

There was no overall winner ;) Well, anyone who had fun at the event is, in my opinion, a winner :)

I personaly wasn't hopped up on melee lvls and armour. :D I barely have 1500HP and was only wearing med armour. In general, I think this piece of the rules might need to be looked at. Maybe add more to it, like allow 2 knives and maybe acc atk. Something like that.
