Popups?

Anyone else suddenly getting popups when visiting these forums? I only noticed it the last couple of days, and the browsers here at work have no popup killers...

I'm using firefox, and am having no problems.

Seeing no problems with either Firefox or IE (XP SP2, popup blocker active)

I use XP sp2 also and get no popups at home, but here at work we use Win2k on our machines and there's no popup killer. The thing is, I've been using these machines for some time to come here, but only in the last day or two has there been popups, so I was wondering whether someone has decided to try and generate some extra cash by allowing ads on the site.
(btw - if that is the case - please don't - popups are sent straight from the netherworlds to annoy forum members, especially ones that claim that you've won a prize

I dont have any pop-up killers, and i dont see any pop-ups on these forums.

No popups on this forum. I guess you have some kind of spywere or trojan on your system that makes those popups. Try ad-aware or even that new M$ anti-spyware thing and clean your PC.

Sasaj is correct.. Certain spyware and data-miners cause such pop-ups (among other things). There are definetely no pop-ups or ads of any kind placed across the ryzom.com website and forums.

First try spybot or adaware to check the system. If you keep having troubles try hijackthis to clean your IE plugins. You can google them to find a download location, its free software. If you don't know what do delete with hijacktis, post the log, and I'll tell you what to get rid off.
