My event feedback

First off I want to say I am VERY impressed that one actually occured. I played City of Heroes for 3 months and they kept promising live events that never happened. All they gave was excuses.

Thought on the actual event. There is room for improvement. First off it you should really create a chat channel where only the speaker can type. It seemed that everything she had to say ended up getting lost or not really making sense because the players were busy either asking questions or making coments (and yes I was as guilty as everyone).

Next you should really announce the location of the speaker. Not just Zora, but the location in Zora as it's a big city. I happened to guess the right location and yelled it on the regional channel. But it would of been easier if it was clear where the event was going to happen.

Finally have them tell a little more about themselves. We really didn't hear much about her and how she related to the history of the game. It would of been very cool to hear her tell about one of the battles she had been in.

Again the event was awesome and I am very impressed that it actually happened. Hopefully more will take place often. :)

Completely agree, very hard to pick out what CheLai actually said.

This event was well attended with 20 - 30 Zoraï gathered at the Town Center in Zora. The three major Zoraï guilds were all there (Comitatus Praetorian, Defenders of Zoran and Pilgrims of Atys) as were many non-guild players. Generally fun for all.

Most of the big cities I've been to have places like bars, bathhouses, and large meeting spaces.
I can't imagine why they don't put these to use for events.
Not sure if they used them in your case, but I remember from beta the GMs just went to a gate/entrance, and posted the location once in regional. By the time I got there it was over.
A minor disappointment but they are starting to add up.
