We killed the kitin matriarch hiding herself among her kinrey servants in Underwood Woe in the Elusive Forest. While kitin activity in the area doesn't seem affected, I'm confident that the homins have struck a blow today that the kitin will remember.

I congratulate you on this great accomplishment Saiwin, my apologies that other matters kept me from fighting by your side once more.

Yes, a new kitin leader will surface, but clearly your image is cut into their minds, and the war will continue until we exterminate every last one of them.

I wondered when someone was going to get round to this.... Some of us on the EE server started organising a raid a lil' while ago but got sidetracked by a GM-made event :(

Congratulations to you Saiwin and all the others who participated and to those who eventually succeeded. It was lots of fun. Thanks for including me.

Saiwin that is awesome!!! Sorry I could not stay beyond the 3 hours, lol. Who was left with you and what did she drop? And could you harvest kitin larva after her death? Come on, give us details.

(Hehe, Alegra, Berrule, and Basic stuck around until we found a way to trap her, then Always brought a team and Chronosfera and Xev came to help. Nothing much happened when we beat her, though - she dropped fine kizarak mats and the kinreys didn't go away. We didn't even try prospecting, we were exhausted. The good news is, she's still gone. The kidinaks may not be respawning either, it's hard to say with so many of them...)

Maybe we should hit them soon and see what happens. They won't be nearly the challenge the queen was.
