Not a fan boy, not someone who has spent 50 bucks and doesnt want to admit it was wasted, not someone who has a chip on their shoulder. I've already said i've played and enjoyed the game. I'd love to see it do well, but all logic would dictate that it will not. If you disagree, I would love nothing more than for you to state your reasoning. After all, I seem to be explaining myself clearly, why shouldn't you be able to defend your opinion likewise?

Lets face it, the mmorpg market is crowded, and its only going to get moreso as soon as the twin behemoths known as Everquest II and World of Warcraft come out- those two games will most certainly spell doom for this project. Best case scenario would have been, you guys get the game out smoothly, people start playing and enjoying the game, and you get a good 2-3 month run before the great exodus. Instead, you have maybe 1/5 of your potential customer base whom have the product and are paying monthly for it, with the majority of that crowd probably defecting soon out of sheer frustration.
It's unfortunate, really.. I beta tested this game during phase 2 closed beta as well as the phase 3 open beta, and enjoyed it a lot. To be honest, I had already decided I wouldn't be buying this game because of the bugged out launch (note: no flames about all mmorpg's launching with problems. Look at city of heroes. Nevrax should take a lesson- no, a class, from NCSoft about how to launch a title.) that I wouldn't be lining any pockets, but after hearing about all the distro problems and simply reading through these forums, I came to the conclusion that the writing is on the wall.
Nevrax, and indeed SoR: Doomed.
