ok, it might be a bit blunt to say this... but i am bored with the weddings!
I really like player events, and try to go there, for fun but also for support for the persons who organize it. They put a lot of work in it, so why not make it a succes?
I went to the first Atys wedding, with Denyria and Klinch, and I loved it. The guides made a good show and a lot of tryker showed up. Then a month later was the 2nd (was it Kib's?) and it was still good. Even more people showed up and it looked good.
But now we have a wedding each weekend, or worse, more then one in a weekend. But I think its getting a bit boring. When we have a wedding once a month it is special. Now I just think... oh ANOTHER one!
There are a lot of player events to do. In the past we had naked boxing, mektoub races (only in matis yet), a ball in Pyr, a beachparty, a stealth/seek event and last weekend a knife fight...
So please! If you want to do an event, try to do something orginal!
(I know, i know, just flame me for saying it out loud, but I needed to say it!)

Don't forget the PvP event which you swapped sides to help out in

(speaking of which I am planning another one soon)

Jut because I helped the Triangle of Truth (which I normally don't are part of)doesnt mean i am a tree-hugging-kami lover the rest of the time!
Pah!

If people wanna get married Sxar they should be able to,
And maybe its not for an 'event' maybe its because they like each other and want to let everyone know how much they (or they're chars) love each other, its not for you to say really.
Im all for events and i think they rock, but if you dont like weddings just no ones holding a luncher to your head making you go
Also if you want support for your events you show support other ppls its a give and take world

Shinken and Synn's wedding last night was brilliant. They had been together ingame since early open beta 1 and finally got married (he took his time

). As for anyone else who wants to get married, let them, the CSR give up their time to do the fantastic ceremonies, and the players have fun. It is a game after all, if you dont want to go, dont

I seriously doubt Sxarlet is jealous. And it's not a matter of going or not. There are ALOT of weddings happening. One, sometimes two, a weekend makes it very hard to plan things. Whether they be events or jsut doing things with your guild or others.
I'm happy to see people getting into the RP spirit, but I think maybe there a few too many. Or maybe jsut too often.

I've been to two weddings and I don't think I'll be going to any more unless I personally know the people well ingame. I don't think people should stop hosting them though.
Pretty soon everyone will be married anyway, then I can start a sideline in being a divorce lawyer

well i was planning on getting married. One day my husband to-be left on a hunting trip... orc's i think he said, something about fat loot?
As days became weeks, and weeks became months there was no sign of my brave warrior. Resigned to a life of solitude i've now named my mount after him. Thankfully there wasnt a wedding
